Global imports of caviar are projected to reach 46 million kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.8% year-on-year. Since 2017, demand has risen by 4.9% annually. In 2021, Russia led the way with 20 million kilograms, followed by Japan, South Korea and the United States. Slovenia saw a 145.2% year-on-year increase, while Andorra was down 37.1% since 2017. Global caviar exports are set to reach 27 million kilograms by 2026, remaining flat year-on-year on average. Since 2016, supply has increased by 0.5% annually. In 2021, Belarus topped the list with 11.9 million kilograms, followed by China, Kazakhstan and Germany. Armenia saw a 140.8% year-on-year surge, while Ireland was down 76.8% since 2016.
