European music revenue is set to reach €12.3 billion by 2026. Since 2016, the market has grown by an average of 1.9% each year, with Germany taking the lead in 2021 with €3.44 billion in revenue. The UK, France, and Sweden came in at numbers 2, 3, and 4. There were significant changes in the region too, with Macedonia increasing 19.5% year-on-year and Cyprus decreasing 100%. Meanwhile, European music expenditure is set to reach €744.35 billion by 2026. This is a slight decrease of 0.1% year-on-year, with the UK leading the way in 2021 with €159.13 billion. Germany, France and Italy followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Albania saw a 6.1% increase since 2016, while Spain decreased 5.2%.
