In 2018, the Kenyan paint market decreased by 24.6% compared to 2017. This was mainly due to a drop in imports, which fell from 576,640 to 434,780 kilograms. Despite this, demand has grown by 31% since 2005. Exports, on the other hand, rose 492.8% to 4,420 kilograms in 2018. Since 2005, the supply of paint in Kenya has increased by 23.6%. The country ranked 72nd in 2018, with Luxembourg taking the lead at 4,420 kilograms. The Czech Republic, Germany and Indonesia followed in the rankings in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively.
