Poland overtook Italy in the ranking, with €8.1 billion in exports. Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark were the next three countries in the ranking. Italian semiconductor imports are forecast to reach €7.5 billion in 2026, down 8.7% from a 2021 figure of €12.7 billion. Since 2000, Italian demand has decreased by 12.4% year on year. Belgium ranked ahead of Italy in 2021 with €12.7 billion. The United Kingdom, Denmark and Ireland followed in the ranking. Revenue from Italian semiconductors is forecast to reach €359.2 billion in 2026, a 0.6% increase from €346.1 billion in 2021. Since 2001, the Italian market has grown 0.2% year on year. France topped the ranking in 2021 with €346.1 billion. France, Italy and the United Kingdom followed in the ranking.
