Hungary's semiconductor exports are predicted to grow by 1.3% annually, reaching €445 million by 2026. This is a 29.9% increase since 2006. In 2021, the country was in 18th place with €411 million, overtaken by Finland. Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively. Semiconductor revenue for Hungary was €20 million in 2021, down 10.4% from €22 million in 2020. Since 2011, the market has slumped by 10.2%. Hungary was 11th in 2021, beaten by Denmark's €20 million. France, Italy and the UK were the second, third and fourth biggest markets respectively. In the same period, semiconductor imports to Hungary are forecast to drop by 21.5% year-on-year, reaching €2.4 billion by 2026. This is a 0.2% increase since 2006. In 2021, Hungary was in 10th place with €9 billion, surpassed by the Netherlands. The UK, Denmark and Ireland were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
