Colombian imports of capacitors will fall by 18.7% in the next five years, according to a report. In 2021, the country imported 23,460 kilograms of capacitors, but this is expected to decline to 7,450 kilograms by 2026. Since 1996, imports have dropped by 25.1% year-on-year. Colombian exports of capacitors, however, are expected to increase by 1.6% in the same period. In 2021, the country exported 4,360 kilograms of capacitors and this is expected to rise to 4,780 kilograms in 2026. Exports have declined by 4.1% annually since 1997. Colombia was ranked 49th in 2021, with Guatemala overtaking it at 4,360 kilograms. The United States, Italy, and Germany were the top three countries in the ranking.
