Since 1996, demand for capacitors in Ecuador has increased by 8.1% year on year. However, since 2014, the country's supply of capacitors has dropped by 31.2% year on year. In 2018, Ecuador ranked 77th in the world, while Mauritius overtook it with 17.9 kg. The United States, Italy and Germany ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
