Rum exports from Costa Rica are expected to reach $4.8 million by 2026, up from $4 million in 2021. This growth of 2.9% year-on-year is a marked decrease from the decrease of 1% year-on-year seen since 1999. Costa Rica came in 31st place in 2021, overtaken by Bermuda at $4 million. The US, Italy, and France took second, third, and fourth place respectively. Rum imports to Costa Rica are expected to reach $6.4 million by 2026, up from $5.9 million in 2021. This growth of 1.5% year-on-year is a slight increase from the 0.8% year-on-year increase since 1999. Costa Rica came in 38th place in 2021, overtaken by Finland at $5.9 million. Italy, the US, and Spain took second, third, and fourth place respectively.
