In 2018, Zimbabwe's rum exports skyrocketed by 727% compared to 2017, standing at over $7,000. However, since 2000, the country has seen a 5.9% decrease year-on-year. In 2018, Zimbabwe was placed 101st in the world rankings, with the Solomon Islands coming in above it at 100th. The United States, Italy and France were placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
