Poland is set to see a 2.1% average annual decrease in pig production by 2026, continuing the downward trend that has been occurring since 1966. Polish pork consumption is estimated to grow 0.6% annually, having increased by 0.4% each year since 2017. The country ranks 11th in the world in this regard, with Mexico overtaking it in 2021 with 2.2 million metric tons. The US, Russia, and Vietnam are the next three largest consumers, respectively.
