This is a 3.4% average growth rate year-on-year since 2021, when the country recorded 17.8 million liters of pure alcohol in sales. Since 2005, the Italian market has grown 15% year-on-year. In 2021, it ranked fourth globally, behind Germany (17.8 million liters of pure alcohol), France, and Italy in the third and fourth positions.
