Since 2001, Azerbaijani demand for whisky has grown by 16.1% annually. Meanwhile, whisky exports from Azerbaijan are expected to hit $711,390 by 2026, up 4.3% year on year. Since 2017, exports of the spirit have increased 16.9% per year. In 2021, Azerbaijan was ranked 70th in the world for whisky exports, with Malta coming in ahead of it at $551,970. The United States, Singapore, and Ireland were second, third, and fourth in the ranking.
