New Zealand's strawberry production is forecast to reach 3,280 metric tons by 2026. That's a 2.6% decline each year from the 3,830 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 1966, the country's strawberry supply has dropped by an average of 4.4% annually. In 2021, it ranked 54th in global production - behind Paraguay, which topped the list with 3,830 metric tons. The United States, Mexico and Egypt came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
