Macedonia's wine revenue is projected to reach around €78 million by 2026. In 2021, the country was in 13th place with €76.28 million, having dropped by 0.4% from 2017. Slovakia overtook Macedonia to become the 12th biggest market. Italy, Spain and Germany were the top three in the same ranking. Meanwhile, wine consumption in Macedonia remained at zero metric tons in 2021, the same as in 2020. Production, however, decreased from 102,360 metric tons in 2013 to 51,010 metric tons in 2014.
