Lithuanian wine consumption is forecast to drop by 1% year-on-year to reach 33,000 metric tons by 2026. This is down from 34,200 metric tons in 2021 and is a 1.7% decrease since 2017. Lithuania came in 44th in the world rankings in 2021, behind Serbia's 34,200 metric tons. France, the United States and Italy took the top three spots in the rankings. Lithuanian wine production is expected to decline 2.7% year-on-year to 3,430 metric tons by 2026. This is down from 3,970 metric tons in 2021 and is a 3.8% decrease since 1997. Lithuania was 53rd in the world rankings in 2021, behind Bosnia-Herzegovina's 3,970 metric tons. France, Spain and the United States held the top three spots in the rankings.
