German exports of sparkling wine are set to reach $172.9 million by 2026, up 1.6% a year on average from $156.8 million in 2021. German production has gone up 4.3% year-on-year since 1996. In 2021, Germany ranked fifth, overtaken by Singapore which had exports of $156.8 million. Italy, Spain and Singapore were the second, third and fourth biggest exporters, respectively. German imports of sparkling wine are set to reach $512.4 million by 2026, up 0.4% a year on average from $499.5 million in 2021. German demand has increased 2.4% year-on-year since 1996. In 2021, Germany ranked fourth, overtaken by Japan which had imports of $499.5 million. The United Kingdom, Japan and Germany were the second, third and fourth biggest importers, respectively.
