Global cashew production is set to reach nearly five million metric tons by 2026, growing 1.9% year-on-year. This represents an increase of 5.7% since 1966. In 2021, Ivory Coast topped the cashew production rankings, with 853,000 metric tons. India, Burundi and Vietnam came in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Mali saw the highest year-on-year growth at 21.4%, while Colombia saw the sharpest decline of 45.6% since 1966.
