Austrian imports and exports of wax are set to see a slight decrease and increase respectively by 2026. Austria ranked 33rd in the world for imports, behind Chile (4.49 million kilograms). Mexico, Germany and Poland followed in second, third and fourth place. Exports of wax from Austria are set to reach 549,070 kilograms by 2026, up 1.3% year-on-year on average since 1999. Austria was 28th in the world for exports in 2021, behind Singapore (509,790 kilograms). Malaysia, Germany and South Africa were the next largest exporters.
