Kyrgyzstan’s glass fibre imports are set to hit 550,000 kilograms by 2026. This marks a 4.2% annual growth from the 427,350 kilograms imported in 2021. Since 2005, demand has risen by an average of 22% per year. Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan’s glass fibre exports plummeted by 99.7% in 2018, down to 14 kilograms from 4,010 kilograms in 2017. This placed the country at 100th in the global ranking, overtaken by Mongolia at 14 kilograms. Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
