Meanwhile, car production in Egypt is expected to decrease 3.8% year on year, from 19,410 units in 2021 to 15,550 units in 2026. Since 2002, car supply has increased 12.2% year on year. In 2021, Egypt was ranked 45th in the world. The Philippines overtook the country with 19,410 units, while Japan, Germany and South Korea came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
