Registration of cars in Argentina is set to drop by 7.6% year-on-year to 171,890 units in 2026, down from 234,180 units in 2021. Since 2010, the demand for automobiles in Argentina has plummeted by 14.9%. Car production in the country is also on the decline, with output reaching 73,870 units in 2021, down 20.6% from 93,000 units in 2020. Since 2002, the country's car supply has decreased by 21.1%. Argentina has been overtaken by Pakistan, with Japan, Germany and South Korea occupying the second, third and fourth spots on the ranking.
