Mexican car registration and production is set to fall in the coming years. By 2026, registration is predicted to drop by 1.7% annually, reaching 582,000 units. This is 11.7% lower than in 2010. Production is expected to decrease by 2.9% each year, reaching 970,770 units. This is 12.5% lower than in 2002. Japan, Germany and South Korea ranked ahead of Mexico in 2021, with 1,025,300 units. Slovakia was in first place with 1,025,300 units.
