Serbia is set to see a decrease in car registration and production by 2026. In 2021, car registration in Serbia stood at 23,780 units, with a 0% year-on-year change. From 2010 to 2021, the country saw an increase of 0.4% annually. Meanwhile, car production in Serbia is expected to drop to 22,600 units in 2026, a decrease of 5.3% year-on-year. This is a 20% fall since 2002. Serbia ranked 42nd in 2021, while Egypt topped the list with 26,080 units. Japan, Germany and South Korea followed in the rankings.
