Iranian commercial vehicle registrations dropped 18% in 2021 compared to 2020, from 28,560 units to 23,430. That's a 28.8% decrease since 2010. Italy overtook Iran in the 2021 ranking, placing it at 49th. Mexico, Argentina and Australia followed, taking second, third and fourth places respectively. On the other hand, Iranian commercial vehicle production increased by 2.3% in 2021, from 43,780 units to 44,790. That's an 11.3% decrease since 2005. Portugal was ahead of Iran in the 2021 ranking, followed by China, Mexico and Canada.
