Bhutanese air transport traffic is set to increase by 13% over the next five years, reaching 2,630 departures by 2026. Since 1993, Bhutanese demand has fallen by 17.4% year on year. Last year, the country ranked 126th out of 135 countries with 2,330 departures, falling behind Cuba. China, India and Russia took the top three spots in the ranking, respectively.
