Oman's methanol exports are projected to reach 1.3 billion kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 1.4% annually since 2021, when the country exported 1.2 billion kilograms. Since 2012, Omani exports have grown at a rate of 2.1% per year. In 2021, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United States were the top three exporters respectively. Oman's methanol imports nearly doubled from 2015 to 2016, rising from 510,500 kilograms to 838,780 kilograms.
