Demand for computer memory in Malta is expected to remain unchanged in the coming years. According to the latest figures, 36,290 units are projected to be imported in 2026, a slight drop of 0.1% from 2021. Since 1999, imports have decreased by 3.8% year on year. Exports of computer memory from Malta have also seen a slight increase. In 2018, 187 units were exported, up 9.4% from the previous year. Since 2001, exports have decreased by 49.2% year on year. The country was ranked 81st in 2018, with Mozambique coming in at top spot with 187 units. The Philippines, the United States and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
