Agriculture in Colombia is set to expand significantly over the next five years. By 2026, the estimated agricultural area in the country is 8.4 million hectares - an increase of 3.4% on average each year since 1966. In 2021, Colombia was ranked 35th in terms of agricultural area, overtaken by Mali which had 6.8 million hectares. Meanwhile, India, Russia and China ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the rankings respectively.
