Sales of Dutch silica sand are set to reach 119 million euros by 2026, up from 109 million euros in 2021. This growth rate of 1.5% per year is slightly higher than the 0.7% average growth rate since 2000. The United States, Belgium and Germany were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Dutch silica sand imports fell from 342 million kilograms in 2020 to 323 million kilograms in 2021, a decrease of 5.7% compared to 2020. Since 1997, Dutch demand has declined by 9.9% per year. In 2021, the Netherlands was twenty-first on the list, behind Germany with 323 million kilograms. Slovenia, Singapore and Belgium were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
