The European Union Solar Energy Consumption is set to reach 1.83 Exajoules by 2026 from 1.51 Exajoules, is expected to jump by 9.7% per year. Since 2001, the demand increased 11.2% year on year totalising 1.84 Exajoules. Italy, Spain and France respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking.
