What is Reportlinker?

ReportLinker is a professional search engine that provides easy access to 1.2 million public documents & reports containing industry statistics.

It functions by aggregating authoritative publicly sourced data in one place, eliminating search results normally indexed in open source with little value such as articles, newspaper columns, and Wiki entries. Our index is updated every day. As a consequence, more than 350 industries are covered by our reports.

Which services do you offer?

We offer different services and are sure to have the best option for you based on your requirements. You can choose between the following:

What is the difference between the Public and the Premium database?

  1. Public Documents - access through a subscription.

Our self-service Public database compiles documents & market reports containing industry statistics issued by public sources such as governments, embassies, unions etc.

It offers three types of data:

• Public reports, published by embassies, trade union and National statistics agencies
• Market Facts & Business News, published by leading newspapers, such as The Economist, Newsweek, CNN or NYT
• Data series covering raw industry statistics that you can then transform into charts, graphs and tables

By subscribing to our Public Database, you will be able to download and print as many of the public documents as you like. Before subscribing, you can view a short description of the document under the title.

  2. Private Premium Reports - browse before buying Pay-As-You-Go.

It references premium reports produced by private companies and publishers and are individually priced Pay-As-You-Go reports. The analytics and data are comprehensive and offer current trends on the industry market. Premium reports are sold on a unit basis (1 user license or corporate license).

Here you can review in detail all of the Table of Contents and report summaries.
You can order the report and you will receive it by email (unless specified hard copy).

How will ReportLinker save me time?

Normal search results index open source articles, newspaper columns, and Wiki entries. ReportLinker only indexes market research and industry documents, thereby eliminating the need to scour hundreds of Google or Yahoo! results for information that still needs to be verified with independent research.

Do I really have unlimited downloads with the public subscription?

Yes! Once you subscribe, we will provide you with a link allowing you to download the document directly from the publisher’s website.
Once there, you can download, store and print the document.
You can download as many documents as you wish, as long as your subscription is still running.

Which browsers are supported?

All of them! Although you’ll get better results if you use Firefox Mozilla, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.

What format do the documents come in?

Mainly in Adobe Pdf. You can also get Word and PowerPoint documents. It depends on the original format in which the document was uploaded.

How can I start using ReportLinker?

You can access and browse the database by subscribing to our service online. You can choose between a 24 hour access, or the monthly subscription. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay by invoice or you are an organisation with a sustained need for market research, we also have a yearly subscription.

Which payment methods to you take?

We offer a wide range of solutions:

Paying online with a credit card is easy and safe. Our secure server encrypts all submitted information.

Do you have an annual fee that allows us to access any report we are interested in?

Yes! Yearly Access is available for clients who require on-going access to the public database or who simply prefer to pay by invoice rather than card. One user yearly access is USD 890 / EUR 890 / GBP 690 (offering the equivalent of two months free) and can be paid via card, wire transfer, check, or PO. Please contact us for further information.

I am a student and cannot pay for this information. Can you help me?

I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

It’s easy. To do so, go to the Login Page. Click on the link “Forgot your password?” just below the password field. Enter your e-mail address (the one you used previously to open your ReportLinker account). You will receive a mail from our Customer Service Department. Follow the instructions to create a new password.
If you are not able to change your password, then please contact us. It would be a pleasure to help.

ReportLinker.com is self-service access based on daily or monthly usage or, in the case of Premium reports, individual Pay-As-You-Go purchases. How to whitelist Reportlinker.com communications ?

If you want to make sure Reportlinker's emails arrive in your inbox, please refer to the following whitelisting instructions for Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! and many other solution you use !

AOL

• Go to keyword « Mail Controls ».
• Select the screen name we're sending your Reportlinker.com to.
• Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.

Version 9.0

• Open your latest Reportlinker.com e-mail.
• Click the Add Address button (on the right) to add to your « People I Know » list.

Alternatively, you can just send an e-mail to newsletter@update.reportlinker.com, and that will add us to your « People I Know » list automatically. To do this:

• Open your latest Reportlinker.com e-mail.
• Click the Reply button (it's in the top right corner).
• A new email window opens with the wrong address in the Send To box.
• Replace the address in the Send To box with newsletter@update.reportlinker.com.
• Click Send Now (in the top right corner).
• Even if the e-mail you send doesn't get through to us, the act of sending it does the job of putting us into your « People I Know » list.

CleanMyMailbox

If Reportlinker.com is filtered, from the spambox :

• Click on the white « W » icon on the left column of the mailing.
• When the pop-up window comes up, simply click the Add to Whitelist button.

Alternative whitelisting methods:

• Click on the White List button.
• Add newsletter@update.reportlinker.com to the bottom of your existing list.
• Click the Submit List button.

• Click the Subject White List button.
• Add Your Publication to the bottom of the list on a line by itself.
• Click the Submit List button.

Cloudmark SpamNet

• Select Cloudmark -> Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook.
• Click Advanced.
• Go to the Whitelist tab.
• Click the Add button.
• Type newsletter@update.reportlinker.com.
• Click OK.
• Click OK.
• Click Yes.
• Click OK.

Gmail

If you're using Google's gmail for e-mail, you can ensure that Reportlinker's emails are delivered to your Inbox by either adding the sending address to your Contacts list or by marking any incorrectly filed e-mail as Not Spam. Here's how :

• Open the latest issue of the e-mail you want to whitelist.
• Click the More Options link. It's on the title line of the e-mail, over on the right, next to the date. (If you see Hide Options instead, then you already have the extra options visible and can just skip this step.)
• When the extra options are visible (just below the subject line), click the Add sender to contacts list link.

Alternatively, you can just send an e-mail to newsletter@update.reportlinker.com, and that will add this address to your Contacts list automatically.

• Open the latest issue of the e-mail you want to whitelist.
• Click the Reply link (it's at the bottom of the e-mail, on the left). A new email window opens with an address pre-filled in the Send To box.
• Click Send Now (it's in the top right corner).

Even if the e-mail you send doesn't get through (for whatever reason), the act of sending it does the job of putting the address into your Contacts list - and that's what counts.

If one of Reportlinker's emails has been filtered into the Spam folder, you can prevent that ever happening again :

• Click on the Spam link to open your Spam folder.
• Click on the wrongly filtered e-mail to open it.
• Click the Not Spam button at the top of the e-mail (right next to « Delete Forever »).

Hotmail

• Click the Options link, on the main menu tabs, then Safe List.
• Type newsletter@update.reportlinker.com in your Safe List.
• If you see a message that should not be in your Junk Mail folder, click « This is not Junk Mail » to avoid having e-mail from the same source sent to the Junk Mail folder in the future.

Mailblocks

• Click the Addresses tab.
• Click New.
• Type newsletter@update.reportlinker.com.
• Make sure « Accept Mail From This Address » is selected under Receiving Options.
• Uncheck « Display in People Picker » under Other options.
• Click Submit.
• Click OK.

• Click Friends from the toolbar.
• Click Add.

• Click Tools, then Blacklist & Friends.

• Click on Settings : E-mail | Junk e-mail (it's at the bottom left of the screen, just above Calendar).
• On the E-mail settings screen, click Junk E-Mail Guard.
• Select Safe List.
• In the space provided under « Add people to the safe list », enter newsletter@update.reportlinker.com.
• Click Add.

• Check your Probably Spam folder.
• If you see that Reportlinker.com was incorrectly filtered out, select it, and click the Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam button.

Outlook 2003 and 2007

• Add newsletter@update.reportlinker.com to your Safe List.
• Add newsletter@update.reportlinker.com to your Personal Contacts in your Outlook Address Book.
• Open any desired e-mail, then select Mark as Not Junk.

SpamAssassin

• Add the following entry to your user_prefs file, which is found in the .spamassassin subdirectory on your web/mail server : whitelist_from newsletter@update.reportlinker.com
• Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your .spamassassin subdirectory.

• Log into your SpamCop account.
• Click on the Options icon in the toolbar.

• Click Filters from the sidebar.
• Click the Approved Senders tab.
• Click Add Filter.

Spam Inspector

• Select Spam Inspector, then Manage Friends List from either the Spam Inspector toolbar or from the Outlook menu.

• Follow the Trusted link under > Authentication Lists.

Spam Sleuth

• Select File, then Configure.
• Go to the Friends category.
• Make sure Active is checked.
• Type newsletter@update.reportlinker.com on a line by itself in the entry field.
• Click OK.

Verizon

• Go to your Verizon Inbox.
• Click Options.
• Select the Block Senders tab (near the top of the screen).
• On the Block Senders screen, you'll see both a « Block Sender List » and a « Safe List ». In the space where it says « Enter e-mail address or sub domain to always accept even if the domain is blocked », enter $fields{'sender'}.

Yahoo! Mail

• Open your Yahoo! mailbox.
• Click Mail Options.
• Click Filters.
• Click Add Filter.
• In the top row labeled « From header : », make sure Contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
• Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address newsletter@update.reportlinker.com. At the bottom, where it says « Move the Message To : » select Inbox from the pull-down menu.
• Click the Add Filter button again.
• If Reportlinker.com has been filtered to your "bulk" folder, simply open the message and click on the « This is not Spam » link next to the « From » field.

Other providers

• If Reportlinker.com is being filtered, try adding newsletter@update.reportlinker.com to your Address Book or Contact list.
• If this option is not available, try moving the message to your inbox or forwarding the message to yourself.
• If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's technical support and ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from newsletter@update.reportlinker.com.
• Domain : if they need to know the domain we're mailing from, tell them reportlinker.com.

Nicolas Bombourg – VP Sales

In charge of business development, Nicolas Bombourg Cofounded Ubiquick in 2001. He is responsible for customer acquisition and retention, and managing the team dedicated to offline and online communication.

Nicolas earned his MBA in Marketing and Statistics from the Aix-Marseille III University and completed his undergraduate studies at Lyon’s catholic University where he earned his BA in Management.
