Report 4: Turkish Real Estate Market 2014
This report discusses medical tourism specifically and has statistics on the number of patients who have traveled to Turkey for medical procedures. According to this study, this is an increasing trend by 37% from 2008 to 2012. This report mentions the top three countries of origin of these patients and the top four destination cities in Turkey they are traveling to. The Ministry of Health is actively seeking more medical tourism patients to travel to Turkey for their procedures in newly implemented medical free zones as a part of the Healthcare Transformation Program (pg 34).
