A centrifugal pump is a pump that employs a rotating impeller to enhance the pressure of the fluid being transferred. The fluid inlet is along the rotating axis and forced out axially or radially after acceleration by the rotating impeller.

A PD pump is defined as a device that moves fluid by trapping a fixed amount of the fluid and then displaces that trapped volume into a discharge pipe. For the purpose of revenue calculation, the first point of sale is included, which is revenue generated by the manufacturer. Motors, pump parts, and after-sales services are not variables in revenue calculation.
