The economic environment provides a solid platform for increases in consumer electronicsdevice spending in Egypt over the medium term. We expect rising incomes and population growth will bestrong drivers of device spending as vendors target both first-time buyers and the higher-value replacementmarket, centred on Cairo. We forecast total device spending will increase at a CAGR of 5.7% over2016-2020 to reach USD4.9bn in 2020.
