Serbia's consumer electronics devices market is one of those with the lowest value in Europe and the market stalled over 2014-2016 amidst economic disruption. We expect more stable growth over the medium term based on a more supportive economic environment that allows vendors to tap into opportunities presented by relatively low penetration rates. The outlook was, however, downgraded this quarter and there is some uncertainty about the trajectory for PC spending in the context of increasing cannibalisation of tablet demand by smartphones.

- Computer Hardware Sales: USD154mn in 2016 to USD159mn in 2020, corresponding to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 0.7%. Potential exists for a bounce back due to deferred demand from 2014-2016, but with tablet and, to a lesser extent, notebook demand under pressure from smartphone cannibalisation, we have a more subdued growth outlook.

- AV Sales: USD108mn in 2016 to USD118mn in 2020, corresponding to a CAGR of 2.2%. After a multiyear contraction we expect stabilisation in TV set demand, but the recovery will be partially offset by further cannibalisation of digital camera demand as smartphone ownership proliferates.
