BMI View: A strong economic outlook will support the Czech commercial real estate sector over themedium term. Demand for high quality space should remain high across all three real estate sub-sectorsthat we cover. New construction activity is mainly confined to the office and industrial sectors, althoughmost industrial space in the pipeline is either pre-leased or built-to-suit. We expect to see rental growth atthe prime end of the market in the retail and industrial sectors, with the office sector lagging behind overthe next two years.Economic expansion is expected to remain buoyant in 2015 and 2016. GDP growth is forecast at 4.2% in2015 and 4.0% in 2016, and the rate of growth is expected to average at 2.9% a year thereafter. Higherexports, falling unemployment, rising incomes and strong consumer spending support this positive outlook,and the commercial real estate market in general is likely to benefit from this improving economic picture.
