In terms of commodities exports and business services, the Australian economy continues to benefit from demand in regional markets.
There are more than 100 companies involved in production and distribution of raw materials and auxiliary products, services and transformation of composites, for several and important segments of the Australian Economy. Australia is a member of the OECD (Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development) and has traditionally has been credited with a strong manufacturing base.
