Any currency conversions used in the creation of this report have been calculated using constant 2015 annual average exchange rates. Please note that 1 terawatt hour is identical to 1,000 gigawatt hours (GWh).

The Asia-Pacific renewable energy market had total revenues of $248.5bn in 2015, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.9% between 2011 and 2015.

Market production volume increased with a CAGR of 11.6% between 2011 and 2015, to reach a total of 2,026.2 TWh in 2015.

This region's growth is primarily driven by the massive Chinese market, which accounted for nearly two thirds of the Asia-Pacific region's revenues in 2015.
