New frequency bands are currently being allocated, or will be in the years to come, to mobile services and IMT technologies. Current LTE spectrum is fragmented, even if use of LTE is converging towards a few bands.
A number of bands below 6 GHz are candidates for IMT technologies in Europe and would be on the WRC-15 agenda. Other bands, above 6 GHz and potentially very high frequency bands, should also be considered.
