: The French tourism market is one of the largest in the world, welcoming a huge volume ofinternational visitors and benefiting from a well established domestic travel market. While growth hasslowed in recent years, the number of international visitors to France is expected to continue to risethroughout our forecast period through to 2019 which in turn will provide a valuable boost to tourismrelated spending and hotel industry value - cementing tourism's position as a major contributor to theFrench domestic economy.

The country is well placed to keep up with the expected increase in demand,being home to an extensive domestic transport network with excellent international travel connections andone of the most developed hotel and accommodation markets globally.Key Updates and Forecasts- Solid average annual growth rates mean we expect the total inbound arrivals figure to increase from93.1mn in 2015 to a huge 105.4mn in 2019, with a concurrent increase forecast in terms of tourismrelated expenditure and industry value.- Already well connected, France's international air travel connections continue to grow: CityJet forexample is launching additional services between Cork and Nantes and La Rochelle in summer 2016,while Easyjet is adding additional winter flights to Lyons from late 2015.
