On the Fast Track to Healthcare Digitization—China, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines and Thailand
The study covers the eHealth initiatives across the emerging markets in Asia-Pacific. Government initiatives and incentives that encourage technology adoption in healthcare are key drivers for private sector investment in the Asia-Pacific eHealth industry. However, inadequate infrastructure and regulatory framework development have adversely affected market growth. The current report highlights key government projects across emerging APAC countries to support healthcare digitization.
-The purpose of this research was to conduct a qualitative evaluation of healthcare information technology (IT) policies, initiatives and regulations across emerging markets in Asia-Pacific (APAC).
-Opinions presented in this research are based on in-depth interviews conducted with key opinion leaders (KOLs) such as representative of health ministries and standards organizations across each country in scope.
-Additionally, secondary sources such as Frost & Sullivan content, ministry of health websites and public databases were used for further inputs.
