About Depression
According to the WHO, depression is a common mental disorder which contributes significantly to the global burden of disease. It affects people across communities in the world. Major depressive disorder is among the most debilitating disorders in the US, and affects approximately 14.8 million adults in the country, aged 18 years and above, according to the NIMH in the US.
