This report forecasts to 2019 revenues generated in dollars and volume hauled in ton-miles by the US freight truck industry (including for-hire and captive service providers). Total revenues are segmented by route, cargo type, and shipment size in terms of long-distance general freight trucking, truckload; long-distance general freight trucking, less-than-truckload; local general freight trucking; local specialized freight trucking; long-distance specialized freight trucking; and used household and office goods specialized trucking. Total US freight revenues and volume are also forecast to 2019. For 2004 through 2014, total freight is segmented by mode as follows: trucking, air, pipeline, railroad, and water.
