The report is devoted to research of expanded clay market in Russia in 2007 – 6 months 2010 and forecast of its development till 2012. As information sources, data of Russian Federal Statistic Service (Rosstat), Russian Federal Customs Service (FCS), Federal Agency of Subsurface Use, railway transport statistic, sectoral and regional mass media, annual and quarterly reports of companies, GS-Expert data-base were used. The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 75 pages, 18 Figures, 31 Tables and Appendix.

The first Section of the report is devoted to analysis of resources base for expanded clay production in Russia. It presents data on total quantity and reserves of raw-materials deposits as well as quantity of exploited deposits, broken by Federal Districts and regions.

The second Section is devoted to analysis of expanded clay production in Russia in 2007 – 6 months 2010. The Section offers data on volumes of production and rates of growth of expanded clay production broken by Federal Districts and by major producers. Also this Section presents analysis of production seasonality factor.

The third Section of the report analyses data of Federal Customs Service of Russia on foreign trade operations in expanded clay in 2007 – 6 months 2010. It presents data on volumes of supplies in natural and money terms, regional pattern of export-import supplies, the main Russian exporters and importers of this product.

The fourth Section is devoted to estimation of expanded clay consumption in Russia. It presents supply-demand balance of the product in Russia, as well as in Federal Districts, in 2007 – 6 months 2010; estimates regional pattern of expanded clay consumption in Russia (broken by Federal Districts and by regions).

In the fifth Section of the report data on changing of producer's prices and prices of acquisition of expanded clay by building and contract organizations in 2007 – 6 months 2010 is presented.

The sixth, final Section of the report gives forecast of development of the expanded clay market in Russia till 2012, based on analysis of current situation and forecast of end-uses (building branch and building materials industry) development.
