An electric underfloor heating system uses electricity for its operation. This heating system operates via pads that are installed beneath the floor, which are plugged into an electricity source and heated that way. Electric UFH systems use non-corrosive, flexible heating elements and use fewer components than hydronic UFH systems and are simpler to install.
