Clinical nutrition is an area of medicine that offers treatment of medical disorders caused due to improper diet or due to the body’s inability to absorb nutrients available in a normal diet. Clinical nutrition products include clinical foods and dietary supplements that are categorized primarily as pharmaceuticals and are delivered through enteral and parenteral feeding for metabolic disorders, eating or nutritional disorders and other conditions.
