Broadband in Eastern Europe is gaining rapid momentum, driven by improved services and increasing competition. Estonia and Slovenia are currently leading the region in terms of penetration, while Hungary, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Lithuania have come close to breaking into the lower ranks of Western European countries. Other countries are still lagging far behind.
