Specialty Films
This comprehensive study examines the US specialty films industry by product, application and market. Products covered include polyolefin films, polyvinyl chloride films, polyester films, nylon films and other specialty films. Applications include barrier films, decorative films, breathable films, safety and security films, conductive films, light control films and others. Markets include packaging, construction, electronics, transportation equipment, personal care products, furniture and others. Historical data are provided for 1995, 2000 and 2005 with forecasts for the years 2010 and 2015. “Demand” is defined as being equal to production plus imports minus exports. This is synonymous with terms such as “sales” and “apparent consumption.” Data are presented in millions of US dollars.
