Market Definition
The infantswear industry is calculated as sales of garments for children between the ages of 0-2 years. The values for each country are sector ed by sales of dresses, clothing sets, pants and shorts, play clothing (including sweaters), and nightwear. Industry value is calculated at retail selling price (RSP), and includes all taxes and levies. All currency conversions have been calculated at constant 2006 annual average exchange rates.
For the purpose of this report, Europe comprises Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Russia.
