The company principally invests in projects in which Siemens acts as a general contractor or supplies components.



Recently, SPV agreed to purchase about 25% stake in 270 Megawatt Lincs offshore wind farm, located on Lincolnshire coastline, from Centrica plc. The recent investments of SPV in renewable energy sector include BGZ Beteiligungsgesellschaft Zukunftsenergien AG of Germany and Arava Power Company of Israel active in wind and solar segments, respectively.



The company invested in projects across Belgium, Germany, India, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan, Spain, Sweden and the US. About USD 1,830 million was invested in Longview, a coal-fired power plant project in the US. This is the largest investment by the company. Jawa Power plant in Indonesia attracted investment worth USD 1,710 million making it the second largest in its investment portfolio.
